What does a stock do for a gun?

A stock or a gunstock refers to the back part of the gun.

You may hear it referred to as a butt, buttstock, or shoulder stock. It is imperative because it gives the gun structural support, to which the firing mechanism, action, and barrel are attached.

What is gun restocking?

Gun restocking involves replacing this part of the gun or the forend wood. Although it may sound simple, it is a careful process, which needs to be done meticulously to ensure the bespoke measurements are reached.

Whether you’re looking for replacement stock for your favourite shotgun or you’re looking to restock a family heirloom, we can assist.

Restocking guns for major brands

We offer replacement stock for all of the main brands in the gun industry, and our experience can give you complete peace of mind when we are working on your gun.

Upon request, we can also make gun stock alterations for shotguns and replace your rifle stock. We also work with all of the major brands, ranging from Miroku, Browning, Caesar Guerini, Perazzi, Chapuis Armes, Beretta.

We also have replacement stock for all of the above brands and more.

We use traditional methods, consisting of smoke lamps, hind files, draw knives and wood chisels to provide our gun restocking service.

Using a wide range of wood blanks ensures we are able to provide a quality service that is exactly how you envision it to be.
