history of the company. After all, with a vast range of guns to choose from, you want to make sure
you’re buying from the best, so here is a brief history of Miroku.
Miroku Firearms was founded in 1893 by Japanese blacksmith,
Karraji Miroku, and their initial focus
was on hunting guns. The company’s manufacturing operations in Japan began to rapidly expand during
the time of the Meiki Dynasty, and throughout the late 1800s and early part of the 20th century,
they quickly became known as a leading manufacturer of quality firearms.
By the early 1930s, they were responsible for making a wide variety of firearms, with a special
focus on manufacturing harpoon guns for the Japanese whale hunting industry.
Due to their success, Miroku was able to supply military firearms to Japanese armed forces during
World War 2, although they later specialised in sporting shotguns.
In the late 1950s, they took inspirations from the popular Browning firearms within their
manufacturing processes, and the two companies later made a business alliance to manufacture and
export firearms.
An industry-leading firearms companies
Today, Miroku still manufacture guns in Japan, with firearms that are produced for the Brownings
Arms Company, and their own line of firearms that are separate from the Browning brand.
Their shotguns are highly regarded, most notably the Miroku 6000-trap model, which was responsible
for a silver medal win at the Barcelona Olympics. The Miroku MK38 and the Miroku MK60 are
considering to be the best guns on the market. It’s well-balanced, steady to shoot, and is an
excellent gun for both beginner and advanced shooters alike. These are but two examples, though you
can be assured of excellent quality and craftsmanship, whichever Miroku model you choose. They are regarded as being one of the best firearm manufacturers in the world, and as Miroku
