A brief history of Browning

The companies founder, John Moses Browning, has been referred to as the ‘father of modern firearms and is one of the most successful firearms designers of the 19th and 20th-centuries.

He pioneered such guns as the Browning Auto 5, the first-ever semi-automatic shotgun, and continued to innovate throughout his lifetime.

Since his death in 1926, the company has led the way in shotgun design, and you can benefit from their craftsmanship by choosing from the Browning range of firearms in our store.

Browning firearms were originally manufactured in Utah, the birthplace of the companies founder, but today they are made in Belgium, Portugal, Japan, and the United States.
